ABOUT THIS PATTERN
BlipBit Boot Socks are 2-strand colorwork knee high socks knit with DK weight yarn with a different pattern for each sock to combat 2nd sock syndrome! Or if you prefer, knit one of the two available colorwork patterns for a matching pair.
Worked with a ribbed cuff, to wear pulled up to the knees or slouched for that 90s vibe. The socks have a variable calf size, and have been sized to accommodate varying calf sizes in relation to foot circumference size. Foot length is fully customizable. The socks are worked top down in the round for the Calf with shaping to the ankle, then back and forth for the Heel Flap. The heel is shaped with short rows then stitches picked up along the Heel Flap for the Gusset. The Gusset and Foot are worked in the round with decreases for the Toes and finished with kitchener stitch.

Sample was knit with Lindelicht Superwash Merino/Bamboo in Amethyst Licht (MC) and Lindelicht Bluefaced Leicester in Barnsteen (CC).
Needles
3.5mm / US 4 80cm/32″ circular needles for magic loop or double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
3.0mm / UK 11 / US 3 80cm/32″ circular needles for magic loop or double pointed needles.
